Are Heart and Logic Opposite ?

Heart exaggerates. It is poetry.  Logic reduces, it divides.

Heart puts trust in the unknown. Logic is in the realm of the known.

To navigate the forest of life, one needs both.

Heart is like the torchlight. It throws light on what lies ahead. 

Logic helps determine the best course of journey based on what it visible.

Purer the heart, stronger and further the light goes, enabling logic to take more informed turns.

One can have a sharp intellect, but without a pure heart, all its decisions will be geared towards short term benefits and non-evolutionary.
But with a pure heart, decisions become very obvious and are based on a deep understanding of life. The slippery (and potentially misleading) steps of logic are non-essential. Heart takes one right to the destination.

Logic - Heart = Near Sightedness.
Logic + Heart = Wisdom.

The bedroom was a scene of carnage with kids completely demolishing every moveable piece of wood & cloth in the room and coloring the immovable parts. In that war zone, these poems were born through Isha's pen.
